THE PASIG City government inaugurated Kalawaan Elementary School as it continues to pursue infrastructure projects amid challenges brought by pandemic.

Mayor Vico Sotto said that the construction of school buildings is part of the goal to have educated Pasigueños.

He asked his constituents to suggest a name for the new facility.

“We will follow the law. No building will be named after a living person. Better if we name new school buildings after outstanding alumni from the school,” he said.

Sotto admitted that the pandemic delayed the completion of infrastructure projects but Kenneth Road, which runs between Barangay Pinagbuhatan and Barangay San Lorenzo Ruiz in Taytay, has been rehabilitated.
