VARIOUS agencies and sectors joined hands to impress upon children in Pasig City the importance of hand washing and hygiene.

The Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo in Pasig led by Darren Alvarez, Pasig City Police Station Community Affairs Section personnel, Sub-Station 5 personnel and non-government organizations demonstrated proper handwashing techniques to the children residing in Sibol Compound, Ilugin Phase 1, Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

They also discussed the symptoms of Covid19, the proper wearing of face mask and face shield, and health protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

“Sa panahon ng pandemya, pakikiisa at pagtutulungan ang kailangan. Nagpapasalamat kami sa masisipag naming mga KKDAT Pasig na palaging andyan na tumulong sa aming mga kapulisan upang mapanatili natin ang iba pa nating kabataan na malayo sa sakit,” Pasig police chief P/Col. Roman Arugay said.

“Nawa ay mas marami pa tayong mga kabataang mahikayat na sumama sa adbokasiya ng Pasig City Police Station at ng Pasig LGU upang tuluyan natin malabanan ang krimen at ang pandemya,” Arugay added.
