DESPITE its negative impact, the suspension of face-to-face classes gave way to the improvement and creation of better schools buildings, the National Parents-Teacher Association Federation said.

National PTA President Willy Rodriguez said that more schools were built as schools were closed.

“Ang daming public school na pinaganda nang husto. Nagtayo ng building, talagang magaganda ngayon,” he said.

“So maraming surplus ang MOOE ng public schools so ngayon, meron pa nga kaming mga principal na sila na mismo ang nagbibigay, nagtatanong ng project na gusto ng mga parents at ipinapasok nila sa MOOE,” Rodriguez added.

Students are expected to return to their classrooms in the next school year as the government plans to implement full face-to-face classes by November.
