PALACE VOWS TO HASTEN REPAIR, COMPLETION OF OVER 1K UNFINISHED CLASSROOMS
MALACAÑANG vowed to fast-track the repair and completion of more than 1,000 unfinished classrooms.
This comes after President Marcos ordered a probe into alleged corruption in infrastructure projects, following a Department of Education (DepEd) report that over 1,000 classrooms turned over by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) were “unusable.”
Castro stressed that the President—and the Filipino people—are dismayed by revelations of substandard projects.
