PALACE HIGHLIGHTS PH RECOGNITION FOR ADVANCING CHILDREN’S RIGHTS
PALACE Press Officer Claire Castro announced that the Philippines has been recognized for its strong commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of children.
Castro said the country was acknowledged by the World Health Organization as a member of the Council of Champions to End Violence Against Children, citing the Philippines’ efforts to address and prevent violence against children.
The DOH continues to strengthen initiatives in support of Sustainable Development Goal 16.2, which seeks to end all forms of violence against children.
