TWO Northern Luzon lawmakers congratulated their constituents who passed the 2022 Bar examinations.

Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos gave a special shout-out to Jether Corpuz, who was the highest ranked passer in the 2022 Bar examinations among takers from the Mariano Marcos State University.

“Congratulations to all the 2022 bar passers, especially to all the new Ilocano attorneys throughout the province! A job well done to Atty. Jether K. Corpuz for ranking 12th in the bar examinations! You have made your fellow kakailians proud!” Marcos said on Facebook.

Corpus got a score of 86.75 percent. The MMSU was the fifth top performing law school in the country with passing rate of 75 percent.

Pangasinan Rep. Christopher de Venecia, meanwhile, commended University of the Philippines College of Law Class of 2022 graduate Erickson Mariñas who obtained an 88.76 percent rating in the exam, placing second.
