NO cases of Covid19 had been reported since the beginning of the limited face-to-face classes on November 15, Department of Education Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan said.

Malaluan shared that there were students who had flu-like symptoms but they tested negative for Covid19.

“So far, wala tayong naitatala na actual na confirmed na positive case of Covid in all of our participating pilot schools at sana magpatuloy iyan in the coming days,” he said.

On December 6, 28 additional schools in Metro Manila also joined the pilot limited face-to-face classes.

Malaluan said that the expansion of limited face-to-face classes is possible next year.

“Since so far ay maganda ang itinatakbo, ang ating ina-anticipate ay ang magiging recommendation na pagpapalawak nito sa expanded phase early next year,” he said.
