/ 17 November 2022

THE NATIONAL Educators Academy of the Philippines trained school leaders on how to develop literacy and foster positive practices in a bid to make students better readers.

The training held from November 6 to 11 was dubbed National Training of Trainers: Instructional Leadership for the Visayas Cluster.

It focused on developing literacy leaders who can foster positive school climate, social and emotional learning and gender equality and social inclusion.

The participating school heads and supervisors pledged to fully implement what they learned at the regional and schools division levels to raise students’ literacy levels.

NEAP-Professional Development Division’s Senior Education Program Specialist Anna Maria Patricia Santos encouraged the participant-leaders to pass on what they had learned from the training to all the teachers in their respective regions.
