MNSA REGULAR CLASS 60 GAINS KEY INSIGHTS ON PA POLICIES AND PROGRAMS DURING HPA FIELD VISIT

/ 18 March 2025

THE PHILIPPINE Army hosted the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Class 60’s field visit at the Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA), Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on March 14, 2025.

The delegation from the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) was led by NDCP President, Lt. Gen. Ferdinand M. Cartujano (Ret.), alongside MNSA Regular Class 60 students, which included 32 officers and enlisted personnel from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, and the Technical and Administrative Service.

This group also included 22 civilian government officials, five executives from the private sector, and six military officers from Bangladesh, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Singapore.

It is worth noting that NDCP welcomed MNSA Class 60 on October 28, 2024, at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. NDCP, the government’s highest center for education, training, and research in national defense and security, offers the one-year MNSA program. This is the only graduate-level degree program in the country focused on national security policy formulation and administration.

“Aside from training, the biggest investment I want to emphasize is preparing our officers to address future threats by broadening their mindset. We have been focused on internal security for so long. No one knows our external adversaries because we’ve been so focused inward. What we need is to invest in broadening our officers’ perspectives through training,” said Army Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido in his remarks.
