THE MANILA City Government has distributed a total of 77,944 liters of Yormilk to daycare learners enrolled in Child Development Centers across the city.

The distribution covered the period from January 12 to February 23 this year.

A total of 21,651 daycare pupils continue to receive milk every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday over a 90-day period, according to the Manila Public Information Office.

The Manila Health Department is also conducting regular weight monitoring of the children alongside the feeding program.

The Yormilk initiative aims to ensure that young learners receive adequate nutrition and help prevent stunting.

“Layunin ng programang Yormilk na masiguro ang sapat na nutrisyon ng mga bata at makatulong sa pag-iwas sa stunting o pagkabansot bilang bahagi ng hakbang ng pamahalaang lungsod para sa kalusugan ng kabataang Manileño,” the MPIO said.
