MALACAÑANG ordered the suspension of classes in both private and public schools in Metro Manila on Friday due to the expected downpour caused by the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by the tropical cyclone.

MALACAÑANG ordered the suspension of classes in both private and public schools in Metro Manila on Friday due to the expected downpour caused by the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by the tropical cyclone.
However, based on Memorandum Circular No. 30, work in agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness and response to disasters and calamities, shall continue.
The suspension of work in private companies is left to the discretion of the management.
Heavy rains flooded several areas in Metro Manila on Thursday.
