MALABON PARTNERS WITH SAVE THE CHILDREN TO STRENGTHEN YOUTH PROGRAMS

MALABON Mayor Jeannie Sandoval highlighted the city government’s commitment to youth development following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between Save the Children and the Malabon City Government for the implementation of Malabon KONEK, or Kabataan One Network for Empowerment at Kalusugan.
According to Sandoval, the partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening programs that promote the health, protection, and empowerment of the city’s youth.
She emphasized that through this collaboration, initiatives focused on young people’s overall development will have a clear direction and adequate support.
The mayor stressed that investing in the youth is essential to the city’s long-term growth and development.
“We believe that a strong future for Malabon begins with healthy, informed, and empowered young people,” Sandoval said, highlighting the city’s long-term vision for sustainable development.
She also reiterated the local government’s commitment to working closely with partner institutions like Save the Children to deliver programs that are genuine, compassionate, and impactful, ensuring lasting benefits for every young Malabueño.
The Malabon KONEK program is expected to enhance coordinated efforts among stakeholders in addressing key issues affecting children and youth, reinforcing the city’s advocacy for inclusive growth and community resilience.
