LIZA SOBERANO LAUNCHES SAVE THE CHILDREN’S KINDNESS CIRCLE
ACTRESS and Save the Children Philippines Ambassador Liza Soberano launched a 24-hour fundraiser to help save children from hunger.
The activity is under Save the Children Philippines’ new fundraising initiative called Kindness Circle.
Kindness Circle encourages people to form a group and think of a creative fundraiser to support different programs for thousands of children. Collected donations from the initiative will support the health and nutrition programs of the organization.
On January 24, Soberano launched her Kindness Circle with her fans through a flash fund campaign.
The campaign, which can be found at https://bit.ly/LizaSoberano24, will only be open for 24 hours and aims to raise at least P24,000 – a symbolic donation for her 24th birthday.
“When I was told about this project, I immediately knew that I wanted my fans to be part of my Kindness Circle. They have been so supportive of me and this is something special that I hope we can do together,” Soberano said.
Meanwhile, Save the Children Philippines’ Individual Giving Manager Judy Malabanan encouraged interested donors to form their own Kindness Circle.
“A simple act of kindness can start a ripple of change. In the past years, we have received so much support from individuals who started their own fundraisers which was generously supported by their family and friends,” Malabanan said.
