SENATOR Francis “Chiz” Escudero urged the graduates of Tarlac State University to harness the power of modern technology in nation-building.

In his speech during the 34th Commencement Exercises of TSU, Escudero emphasized the importance of the youth’s role in building a better society.

The senator said that the youth have modern equipment at their disposal to make a difference in the lives of every Filipino, something that older generations did not possess.

He stressed that the youth are not just the hope of the motherland but they can be a partner in building a better society.

TSU President Dr. Arnold Velasco cited Escudero for his invaluable support and assistance to the university in his capacity as chairman of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical and Vocational Education.
