In his House Bill 9754, Suan said many Filipinos aspire to have careers in government or regulated professions but face financial barriers to accessing the necessary review centers for professional licensure and civil service examinations.
The solon said his measure aimed to support the academic and professional growth of graduate students in public higher education institutions.
The free civil service and professional licensure examination review includes materials, mock exams, and instructor-led sessions, which will assist them in their preparation for entering government service or practicing their respective professions.
The lawmaker stressed the need for the bill arises from recognizing that financial constraints often limit individuals, particularly those with exceptional academic and behavioral merits, from pursuing professional and civil service licensure.
