MAGUINDANAO del Sur Rep. Mohamad Paglas Sr. filed a measure that seeks to establish a Technbical Education and Skills Development Authority Training and Assessment Center in Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur.

House Bill 6546 mandates the establishment of a TESDA Training and Assessment Center in the municipality of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur.

Paglas said that the establishment of a training center will help achieve long lasting peace and order.

The center will offer training programs on relevant skills, competencies, craftmanship and entrepreneurship that will eventually hasten the transformation not only of the people as productive citizens, but the area and its contiguous localities into human resource and productivity hubs.

Paglas admitted that they realized that the way to peace and order is not to through arms.

The lawmaker said the government must give the people a source of livelihood, economic opportunities, teach them new knowledge and educate them until they can stand on their own.
