LAW SCHOOL OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES TAKE OATH AT SUPREME COURT
THE NEW Philippine Association of Law Schools Board of Trustees and Officers for 2026–2028 took their oath of office at the Supreme Court of the Philippines on Monday, administered by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo.
The newly sworn-in officers include:
- Jonathan P. Capanas, University of San Jose-Recoletos School of Law – Chairperson and Trustee for Visayas
- Jose A. Grapilon, Philippine Law School – President and Trustee for NCR
- John Ray M. Libiran, University of Baguio School of Law – Executive VP and Trustee for Luzon
- Remelisa G. Alfelor–Moraleda, University of Northeastern Philippines College of Law – Secretary General and Trustee for Luzon
- Raquel R. Dujunco, Aurora State College of Technology College of Law – Auditor
- Jose Perpetuo M. Lotilla, Manuel L. Quezon University School of Law – Trustee for NCR
- Mario Zaldy B. Docena, Emilio Aguinaldo College Institute of Law and Justice – VP for Luzon and Trustee for Luzon
- Rodney C. Ato, Father Saturnino Urios University College of Law – VP for Mindanao and Trustee for Mindanao
- Anna Maria D. Abad, Adamson University College of Law – Deputy Secretary General for NCR
- Myra Angeli A. Gallardo-Batungbakal, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Molino College of Law – Deputy Secretary General for Luzon
- Genevieve Marie Dolores B. Paulino, Cor Jesu College, Inc. Law School – Deputy Secretary General for Mindanao
Trustees representing regions include Sergio M. Ceniza (NCR), Alberto L. Deslate (Luzon), Paisal D. Tanjili (Visayas), and Kenny C. Sabellano (Mindanao). Trustees-at-large are Dodie O. Turla, Manuel P. Quibod, and Pearlito B. Campanilla.
Special appointments were also made, including retired Sandiganbayan Justice Raoul V. Victorino as Special Consultant, Ramdon Edison Batacan as Senior Presidential Advisor, Silvia Jo G. Sabio as Special Counsel to the President (sworn in online), and Marcelino Mikhail Lee L. Maxino as Representative from State Universities and Colleges.
The Board of Advisers includes Ma. Soledad Derequito-Mawis, Sedfrey M. Candelaria, Gemy Lito L. Festin, and Teodoro A. Pastrana.
