STARTING March 13 this year, television-based instruction materials for Kindergarten to Grade 3 students will air on Knowledge Channel, the Department of Education said.

The materials to be released were developed by DepEd, the United States Agency for International Development and RTI International.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by USAID, RTI International and Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. on March 10.

Present during the signing were DepEd Undersecretary for Finance Annalyn Sevilla; DepEd Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching – Curriculum Development, Learning Resources, and Learning Delivery Alma Ruby Torio; DepEd Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching – Education Assessment and Alternative Learning System G.H. Ambat and DepEd Project Management Service Director Susana Santiago.

Under the partnership, Knowledge Channel will air ABC+ My TV School television-based instruction materials through its School Anywhere campaign on-air and online.
