A 16-year-old junior high school student of Sta. Cruz High Integrated School from Lubao, Pampanga has joined Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio during her visit to Malaysia.

The trip is part of the program “You Can Be VP” of the Vice President.

Duterte-Carpio attended official events such as courtesy calls with Elize for her to experience the work of a Vice President.

Elize said she will never forget the experience she had in Malaysia and she was even more inspired to study hard to fulfill her dreams.

According to the Office of the Vice President, the “You Can Be VP” Program is dedicated to nurturing the spirit of public service and transformational leadership among the youth.

“Our mission is to provide exemplary Filipino students with a unique opportunity to directly participate in the official engagements of the Vice President,” it said.
