FILIPINO teachers who want to teach Japanese can participate in a free online course of Irodori Online Teacher’s Training Program 2023.

The Japan Foundation Manila on Tuesday said that it is now accepting applications for its “Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan.”

“The online course will offer you lectures about the teaching methodology via Zoom.
Aside from the online course, you will also learn how to utilize the IRODORI Online Course so that your students can learn how to study Japanese by themselves,” it said.

“You will be asked to: join and actively participate in group discussions, make lesson plans, give demo lessons, get feedbacks from other participants and JFM instructors,” it added.

To qualify, an applicant must have JLPT N3-N4 or above level proficiency with at least 1-year teaching experience; actively participate in the training program with a microphone and a camera on with quiet background and stable internet connection.

The deadline for the filing of application is on January 23, 2022.
