IP STUDENTS TREATED WITH SHOPPING SPREE
THE SENATE Spouses Foundation, Inc. or SSFI has brought smiles to the indigenous teenagers of Talaingod, Davao Del Norte during its “A Christmas in November” event held at SM Lanang in Davao City.
Led by SSFI Public Relations Officer Nancy Dela Rosa, 45 young members of the TATAG IP Students Foundation Inc. from the municipality of Talaingod, Davao del Norte, were treated to a memorable shopping spree, followed by a delightful lunch.
Dela Rosa and the SSFI staff personally accompanied the Indigenous teens, guiding and assisting them as they selected items of their choice.
A Christmas in November is an annual gift-giving event by the SSFI headed by its President Ms. Heart Evangelista-Escudero in collaboration with SM.
This serves as part of their commitment to bringing hope and cheer to underprivileged communities.
Datu Allan Causing, tribal leader of Talaingod and Tatag IP Foundation president, expressed his gratitude to the SSFI and the SM management for choosing the young IPs of the foundation for the event.
