THE HOUSE of Representatives donated books, magazines and other publications to the Quezon City Public Library.

Deputy Secretary General Dr. Edgardo Pangilinan, Legislative Information Resources Management Department head, led the turnover of materials.

The House made the donation after the Library’s administration requested for materials for the main and branch libraries.

This is part of the Quezon City Public Library’s E-Library Project.

During the turnover event, QCPL Officer-in-Charge Mariza Chico said that the E-library project, as well as its library enrichment and literacy program, aim to develop and enhance the reading habits of QC residents, especially the youth in remote barangays.

The donated materials will be primarily used in the QCPL main library, while some will be distributed to its branch libraries.
