GROUP SEEKS ENTRIES FOR UN ART COMPETITION
TO CELEBRATE the United Nations’ 75th year in the Philippines, DAKILA, a group promoting modern heroism, called on young artists to join UN’s “UNstoppable YOUth: Shaping the Future We Want” art competition.
The competition aims to raise the youth’s spirit, courage and creativity in envisioning a better Philippines through the art.
“The power of the creative form is its ability to shape the consciousness of its audience. It allows audiences to understand concepts and conditions on human struggles and enables them to convey their insights and convictions on social causes,” the group said.
