GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR COAST GUARD NON-OFFICERS’ COURSE CLASS 113 – 2025 ‘NASIGLAT-SALAKNIB’
THE PHILIPPINE Coast Guard, through the Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command, held the Recognition Ceremony for Coast Guard Non-Officers’ Course Class 113 – 2025 “NASIGLAT-SALAKNIB” at the Regional Training Center Aurora on September 5, 2025.
The activity is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of strengthening the PCG’s manpower through quality training programs.
Commander of the CGETDC, Rear Admiral Tito Andal, PCG, presided over the ceremony.
In his message, Rear Admiral Andal urged the trainees to rise above their weaknesses, choose courage over comfort, and embody the qualities of a Coast Guardian—leading by example, serving with humility, and protecting with honor.
He also expressed his gratitude to the training directorate and staff for their unwavering guidance to the students.
“The recognition you receive today is not the end; this is only the beginning of a greater journey. The road ahead will not be easy, but I believe in you. You are now part of something greater than yourselves—isang Tanod Baybayin na handang mag-alay ng galing at tapang para sa bayan,” Rear Admiral Andal said.
The recognition ceremony highlighted the triumph of Candidate Coast Guard Non-Officers in overcoming the rigorous bootcamp stage—considered the toughest phase of training. This stage developed them to become physically fit, emotionally resilient, and capable of making sound judgments under pressure. With its completion, the newly recognized candidates will now advance to the academic phase, where they will further strengthen their knowledge, leadership skills, and operational competence in preparation for their future roles as members of the Philippine Coast Guard.
The ceremony was also attended by other PCG officers and non-officers.
