VICTIMS of the bombing incident that happened in the gymnasium of Mindanao State University in Marawi City received assistance from the government.

The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity assisted the Bangsamoro government in extending assistance to the victims and families.

Some six patients admitted to the hospital received P25,000 each through the Ministry of Social Services and Development MSSD’s Bangsamoro Critical Assistance for Indigents in Response to Emergency Situations program.

On December 3, three of the 17 injured patients brought to the MSU Infirmary received P5,000 each for transportation, while 14 patients were provided P2,000 each for their medical needs.

The respective families of two of the deceased victims received P50,000 each.

Meanwhile, MSSD’s Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Adelaida Mohamad Ali said that the social workers will conduct mental health and psychosocial support for MSU students.
