GO NEGOSYO, DEPED INK PARTNERSHIP TO INTRODUCE ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO HS STUDENTS
THE Department of Education and Go Negosyo have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to introduce entrepreneurship to high school students.
One of the projects of this agreement is the promotion of “Pamparaalang Taniman ng mga Agribida” where they will introduce basic agricultural concepts, launch school-based gardens, and cultivate cash crops in schools.
The agreement also includes the promotion of Agribusiness Education, Mentoring Entrepreneurs Through Our Teachers, and Youthpreneur Mentorship Program.
Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio said that their goal is to inspire new generations of agricultural leaders in the Philippines.
She believes that they can build a future where the country is ready to respond to any social and economic changes that may come.
“Naniniwala ako na upang makamit natin ang isang progresibong bansa, kailangan nating magsimula sa pamamagitan ng pagkintal ng makabagong pag-iisip sa ating mga kabataang Pilipino,” the Vice President added.
Go Negosyo is the advocacy of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, a non-stock, non-profit organization that advocates for a change in mindset and attitude.
