Globe restoration efforts in VisMin continue to see significant progress

/ 3 January 2022

Globe is nearing completion of needed repairs in Visayas and Mindanao, in order to provide mobile network services to our affected customers.

Globe’s field teams are working round the clock to bring communications facilities back up following the devastation caused by Typhoon Odette. More towns are seeing significant progress in repairs.

Globe, with the help of local government units, made it possible to hasten restoration efforts across different provinces hit by the typhoon.

They’ve maintained stations in Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Leyte, Surigao, and Dinagat Islands to continue supporting communities on-ground, as they rebuild and recover from the effects of Typhoon Odette.
