GAD-RELATED COURSES ADDED TO THE TESDA ONLINE PROGRAM
THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority added two courses on gender and development in its online learning platform.
The courses “Working in a Gender-Diverse Environment” and “Conducting Gender Analysis, Mainstreaming, and Planning and Budgeting” were integrated into the TESDA Online Program. The first course is available to all TOP learners while the second was initially made available to members of TESDA GAD Focal Point System.
TESDA Director General Isidro Lapeña said that these courses were added to provide TOP users the right information to promote a gender-fair society and a workplace free from gender discrimination.
“We hope that through these online courses, we will be able to increase the public’s level of awareness and concern about issues related to gender and development,” the TESDA chief said.
The courses were developed by different TESDA offices with the help of the Philippine Commission on Women.
