FEU ALUMNA FINDS TEACHING JOB AT GERMANY’S ARDEN UNIVERSITY
A FAR Eastern University alumna currently teaches at Arden University in Berlin, Germany.
Bonna Rizalina Bambilla was a product of the Morayta-based school where she graduated summa cum laude in 2013 with a degree in BS Tourism.
According to Bambilla, the FEU Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management ignited the lifelong learner that she is today.
“The curriculum and hands-on training provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the field of tourism,” she said.
“The dedicated faculty members went above and beyond to mentor and guide me, nurturing my passion for academia and instilling in me a deep understanding of the tourism industry,” she added.
Bambilla also noted the opportunities for competitions and industry exposure programs broadened her horizons, enhanced her intercultural competence, and prepared her for the challenges of working in a global environment.
“FEU will forever have a place in my heart for enabling me to make a meaningful contribution to the field of tourism as a university professor in Berlin, Germany now,” she stressed.
Meanwhile, the FEU ITHM commended Bambilla for her remarkable achievements, particularly in inspiring the next generation of tourism professionals.
“The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management is proudly sharing the successful career journeys of our alumni in the tourism and hospitality industry,” it wrote on Facebook.
