THE DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute is now accepting applications for the 2023 Junior Level Science Scholarships for Academic Year 2023-2024.

The granting of the scholarship is under Republic Act 7687, the merit scholarship program and RA 10612.

Under RA 7687, scholarship will be granted to talented and deserving students whose families’ socio-economic status does not exceed the set cut-off values while the merit scholarship program is awarded to students with high aptitude in science and mathematics.

Meanwhile, RA 10612 aims to strengthen the country’s science and technology education by fast-tracking graduates in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering who shall teach science and mathematics in secondary schools.

Scholars will get monthly stipends, tuition subsidies for students attending private universities, transportation allowance, thesis allowance and group health insurance.
