DLSU-D SHS STUDENTS JOIN CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN SOUTH KOREA

/ 10 November 2023

SENIOR High School students from the De La Salle Dasmarinas are participating in the Cultural Exchange Program in South Korea.

According to the school, the DLSU-D SHS students will attend the program in Sangju Girls’ High School.

“Internationalization, through our Student Cultural Exchange Program, is one of the unique features of DLSU-D Senior High School, where our students are allowed to learn different cultures, through a homestay program with partner student families, to enhance resilience and global citizenship,” it said.

DLSU-D and SGHS have been in partnership since May 2019.

Last May, a memorandum of understanding was signed by DLSU-D President Francisco de la Rosa VI FSC, SHS Principal Marlon Pareja, Vice President for Linkages and Advancement Dr. Sonia Gementiza, and Sang Ju Principal Kang Byunghyo.

Based on the agreement, the partnership between the two schools will be for an exchange program wherein students from Sang Ju Girls School will come to the Philippines to homestay with DLSU-D students.

DLSU-D SHS students, on the other hand, will also go to South Korea with the same arrangements.
