MANILA — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced the suspension of classes at all levels and government work in several areas on Friday, July 25, 2025.

The suspension covers the following areas:

Metro Manila

Abra

Albay

Apayao

Aurora

Bataan

Batangas

Benguet

Bulacan

Cagayan

Camarines Norte

Camarines Sur

Cavite

Ifugao

Ilocos Norte

Ilocos Sur

Isabela

Kalinga

La Union

Laguna

Marinduque

Mountain Province

Nueva Ecija

Nueva Vizcaya

Occidental Mindoro

Oriental Mindoro

Palawan

Pampanga

Pangasinan

Quezon

Quirino

Rizal

Romblon

Tarlac

Zambales

“All levels of learners, including TESDA students, are covered. Government offices will also be closed. However, frontline government personnel are expected to report for duty,” the DILG said.
