THE Department of Education warned the public about posts circulating regarding the agency’s scholarship offer.

In the post circulating on Facebook, it stated that all students can apply for scholarship.

It showed that P5,000 will be given to those in elementary school, P7,000 to those in high school, and P10,000 for college students and those taking vocational courses.

However, DepEd reminded the public the post is fake.

The department also said the public should be careful about what is being read and shared online.

“DepEd reminds everyone to stay vigilant against misinformation,” the department said.
