DEPED URGED TO CONDUCT DIAGNOSTIC TESTS TO GAUGE THE READING SKILLS OF STUDENTS
ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro urged the Department of Education to conduct diagnostic tests on students to gauge their reading skills.
ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro urged the Department of Education to conduct diagnostic tests on students to gauge their reading skills.
Castro said Catch Up Friday should not focus on reading per se.
The Deped launched the program last January 12.
DepEd said the program is a learning mechanism intended to strengthen foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to realize the objectives of the basic education curriculum.
