DEPED TO REINTRODUCE F2F WORK IMMERSION
THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that face-to-face immersion, specially in senior high schools, will resume.
The implementation of physical work immersion, which is a required subject for the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood in Senior High School, was suspended when Covid19 hit.
However, since face-to-face classes resumed, the department is considering resuming it.
“We are strongly suggesting that Work Immersion should be implemented for the Senior High School learners as they are nearest to accomplishing their postsecondary goals and dreams,” Secretary Leonor Briones said.
Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado San Antonio said that the Department has created guidelines on Work Immersion prior to the Covid19 pandemic.
He said that the work immersion was included in the progressive expansion phase of physical classes.
