DEPED TO PROVIDE ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODE IN QUAKE-HIT AREAS
THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that students in quake-hit areas can still pursue their education through the alternative learning delivery modes.
The education agency further explained that it aims to offer students resilient, easily available and high quality education in the coming six years.
“Naturally, it’s a very hard task kaya nagpapasalamat kami sa suporta ng mga partner agencies today kung saan inilahad nila ang kanilang commitments kung ano ang kanilang gagawin para tulungan tayo sa ligtas na pagbabalik aral ng ating mga learners,” Michael Poa, DepEd spokesperson, said.
Meanwhile, Poa said that the Oplan Balik Eskwela 2022, which runs from August 15 to August 26, ensures that schools are prepared for the new school year.
He added that the OBE Command Center was also established to address worries and problems associated with the start of classes.
“They always say that it takes a village to raise a child so let’s be that village, kapit-bisig po tayo para bata, para sa kinabukasan ng ating bayan,” Poa said.
