THIS year, the National Science and Technology Fair will be held virtually because of the pandemic but it will continue to highlight science and research in addressing global challenges.

The Department of Education said the NSTF 2021 aims to demonstrate learners’ resiliency, innovation, and creativity in the face of global crisis with the theme “Agham, Pananaliksik, at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Matatag at Maunlad na Pamayanan.”

Education Secretary Leonor Briones said that teaching science and technology is included in having a quality education.

“We cannot talk about quality education without also teaching or nurturing our learners in the intricacies of technology and communication, creativeness, and invention,” Briones said.

The NSTF serves as a forum for knowledge exchange, community engagement, and industry collaboration among students, teachers, industry partners, and science experts.
