DEPED THANKS STAKEHOLDERS FOR SUCCESS OF F2F CLASSES

THE DEPARTMENT of Education thanked all stakeholders for their contribution for the successful initial run of limited face-to-face classes.

The DepEd said thanks to the preparations and implementation of health protocols, no Covid19 cases have been reported in schools that conducted in-person classes.

“We would like to commend the tremendous efforts that our valued stakeholders have provided for the successful and safe pilot run of limited face-to-face classes,” Education Secretary Leonor Briones said.

“The involvement of everybody is crucial to the expansion of the implementation,” she added.

At least 177 public schools have been allowed to participate in the pilot implementation of limited physical classes.

“Marami nang nag-umpisa this week as long as they are given clearance to proceed and safety assessment is done,” Public Affairs Services Director June Arvin Gudoy said.

The additional schools that will start holding in-person classes are 9 in Ilocos Region, 10 in Cagayan Valley, 7 in Central Luzon, 13 Calabarzon, 11 in Bicol Region, 7 in Western Visayas, 9 in Eastern Visayas, 12 in Zamboanga Peninsula, 10 in Northern Mindanao, 7 in Davao Region, 15 in Soccsksargen, 9 in Caraga Region, 20 Cordillera Administrative Region, and 28 in National Capital Region.
