DEPED OFFICIAL APOLOGIZES FOR MATH ERROR
AN OFFICIAL of the Department of Education has apologized for the error on a Math lesson aired recently.
Undersecretary Alain Pascua, in a Facebook post, admitted the error and the need for tighter screening of online lessons.
“Totoo pong may mali. Kaya minabuti kong mag-post para maituwid agad itong pagkakamali,” he added.
He said that the erroneous equation will be fixed once it is uploaded to the DepEd Commons and YouTube channel.
“Humihingi po kami ng paumanhin sa ating mga mag-aaral, sa mga magulang at teachers sa pagkakamaling it,” Pascua said.
He then thanked the critics for pointing out the mistake and expressed the importance of quality checks.
