THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that it received pledges of assistance to ensure the safe implementation of limited face-to-face classes.

DepEd Planning Service Director Roger Masapol expressed the agency’s appreciation to its partners who vowed to assist the agency before the rollout of F2F classes.

DepEd’s partners include the United States Agency for International Development, GIZ fit for school, United Nations Children’s Fund, Sustaining Education Reform Gains project (Australian Embassy), United Laboratories, Inc., Save the Children, Aboitez, Procter and Gamble, PBED, Aral Pilipinas, UP NISMED, UPOU, Unang Hakbang Foundation Inc, World Bank and World Vision.

On November 3, the education department officially released the 100 public schools that will participate in the pilot implementation of F2F classes.

Assistant Secretary for National Academy of Sports and Field Operations Malcolm Garma said DepEd and the Department of Health are still evaluating the application of 57 private schools who wish to be included in the pilot run.
