DEPED, DOH HOLD MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAM IN PANGASINAN
THE DEPARTMENT of Education and Department of Health held a medical outreach program in San Felipe East, San Nicolas, Pangasinan where the health of residents, including children, were assessed.
Adults and infants were given medicines and vitamins, including ready-to-use supplementary food.
The medical team said the children were diagnosed with colds and coughs.
“Early detection is important to prevent the disease from getting worse. This noteworthy activity all lies with the Rural Health Unit and residents who don’t have the budget for check-ups,” Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez, also a doctor, said.
During the event, tooth brushing and dental care were promoted, as well as family planning.
The mayor pledged to provide fast and efficient health care services to her constituents, particularly the poor.
