He observed the rollout of the School-Based Feeding Program and ARAL sessions under President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s push for stronger learning recovery.

During the visit, Angara helped distribute hot meals and held dialogues with teachers to gather ground-level insights on interventions that can be scaled across divisions.

“Kailangan nating marinig ang mga kuwento sa bawat paaralan. Kapag malinaw ang datos mula sa baba, mas tama ang suporta mula sa taas. Dito natin nakikita kung ano ang talagang gumagana para sa mga bata,” Angara said.

Angara joined teachers in distributing hot meals and sat in on tutorial activities that strengthen early-grade reading and support vulnerable learners.

He emphasized the importance of accurate on-ground data in shaping effective interventions and guiding national policy.

Angara noted that the programs will be further scaled up next year through the historic 2026 education budget, which enhances feeding, literacy recovery, and school-level support nationwide.
