DEPARTMENT of Education Secretary Sonny Angara joined the groundbreaking ceremony for a new building at Marikina Science High School.

The upcoming facility will house 32 new classrooms and four workshops, aimed at enhancing the learning environment for students.

Angara emphasized that the event marks not only DepEd’s success but also the collective effort of all contributors in the education sector.

He expressed his gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and other key officials for their support.

“Kaya taos-puso tayong nagpapasalamat kina Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa patuloy na pagbibigay-prayoridad sa edukasyon; DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan sa pagsigurong maayos, ligtas, at dekalidad ang ating mga pasilidad; at sa ating mga lider mula sa lungsod ng Marikina: Senator Koko Pimentel, Special Envoy Kath Yu-Pimentel, Teacher Stella Quimbo, at Cong. Miro Quimbo,” Angara said.
