EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara expressed his gratitude for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s continued support for education.

“Ramdam na ramdam natin ang suporta ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na personal na binisita ang mga paaralan para sa Brigada Eskwela,” the Department of Education (DepEd) said.

Secretary Angara thanked the President for his ongoing commitment to education and his support for teachers.

Earlier, President Marcos directed government agencies to address water supply and sanitation issues in public schools, emphasizing the importance of clean toilets with running water and expressing concern for students’ health.

He raised the issue after visiting two schools in Bulacan to launch Brigada Eskwela 2025, where he observed the poor condition of school toilets and the lack of access to clean, running water.
