COMMISSION on Elections Commissioner Nelson Celis met with officials of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila to discuss a partnership on voter’s education.

Celis was accompanied by other poll officials.

Prior to the elections on May 9, 2022, the university and the Comelec collaborated on a voter’s education program, which both institutions hope to continue.

“We are thankful and honored to welcome Commissioner Celis back to our beloved PLM campus, as well as for Comelec’s trust that we can support initiatives to better prepare the Filipino electorate for future elections,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.

“It’s never too early to start with voter’s education initiatives, and we consider this as our way of contributing to nation-building,” he added.
