CHED URGED TO ALLOW F2F GRADUATION FOR K-12 PIONEERS
STUDENTS across the country called on the Commission on Higher Education to allow face-to-face graduation for students in the K-12 program.
A student sent an email to CHED imploring the agency to make their “dream” of graduating the traditional way happen.
The student added that they would cherish the experience than just seeing their names on screen.
“We humbly plead to reward us with a day that we will certainly not forget. It would be painful to just watch our names be flashed on a small screen as recognition of surviving the most tedious years of our lives,” the student said.
Other students agreed.
The pioneer batch of K-12 will graduate in 2022.
Schools across the country resorted to online graduations because of the pandemic.
The government has yet to allow face-to-face classes except in select schools and courses.
