CHED OKS LIMITED F2F CLASSES IN DE LA SALLE LIPA
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has approved the request of the De La Salle-Lipa to hold limited face-to-face classes for its BS Nursing program.
“CHED Regional Office IV-A (CALABARZON) has granted De La Salle Lipa a Certificate of Authority to reopen its campus for the reopening of limited face-to-face classes for the school’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program,” the school announced.
The school received its Certificate of Authority from CHED for complying with the guidelines and health protocols.
The schedule of classes will follow a 4-10 model — four days of limited physical sessions at the school or hospital and 10 days home quarantine wherein the students will have online classes.
This setup will adhere to the DLSL Borderfree Classroom provisions, where learners are guided to become actively engaged in the design of their learning experiences, the school explained.
Meanwhile, graduating students will take turns in attending nursing skills demonstrations and procedures conducted by clinical instructors before their hospital exposure.
All students who will attend in-person classes should be fully vaccinated, undergo swab test, have active PhilHealth coverage, and must have a health card.
They should also submit a consent form which indicates that they are aware of the risks in attending physical classes.
