THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has again allowed the holding of activities outside campuses for college students.

Chairman Prospero De Vera III modified CHED Memorandum Order No. 09, series of 2022 by issuing Memorandum Order No. 01 series of 2023.

Off-campus activities include educational tours, degree program-relevant events, field study, mission-based activities, seminars or conferences, community outreach programs, performances, and competitions.

These are permitted subject to compliance by higher education institutions with the policies and guidelines for such events.

“The HEIS are encouraged to coordinate with their partner institutions to allow unvaccinated students to participate in off-campus activities,” De Vera said.
