CALOOCAN LGU, DOLE LAUNCH JOBSTART TRAINING FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH, FRESH GRADUATES

/ 16 July 2024

THE Caloocan City Local Government Unit has partnered with the Department of Labor and Employment in launching JobStart, a program that aims to provide career coaching, life skills, and technical training for the youth.

A total of 50 beneficiaries were selected by the city government to start the said training in which they will receive a sum of P400 daily.

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Along Malapitan said the program likewise aims to provide a head-start for the beneficiaries, especially those who are planning to be employed in the long-run, whether in a corporate or government set-up.

The said training is projected to last 10 days, preparing the beneficiaries in workplace integration and referring them to potential employers.

The Public Employment Service Office also encourages those who are interested to apply to visit their offices: 6/F Caloocan City Hall-South and 3/F Caloocan City Hall-North.
