CALOOCAN LGU AWARDS P10,000 INCENTIVES TO 222 TOP GRADUATES
A TOTAL of 222 students from Grades 6, 10, and 12 in various public schools received P10,000 each from the Caloocan City government after graduating with highest honors for School Year 2025–2026.
The incentive program, a continuing initiative under Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, aims to recognize academic excellence and encourage students to strive for outstanding performance.
Malapitan personally congratulated the awardees during recognition ceremonies held across schools in the city. He also acknowledged students who earned other distinctions, reaffirming the local government’s commitment to supporting learners at all levels.
“Congratulations, achievers! We have been consistently providing incentives like this every year, and we hope you continue to persevere in your studies and serve as inspiration to your fellow students,” the mayor said.
He expressed confidence in the students’ future, noting that their dedication and hard work would open doors to greater opportunities.
“We believe that all of you will have a bright future because of your determination to achieve your dreams. Rest assured, the city government will continue to support you, especially in opportunities that can further help your education,” he added.
Malapitan emphasized that improving the quality of education remains a top priority of his administration. He highlighted ongoing efforts to distribute free school supplies and modernize educational facilities across the city.
“We will continue providing free school supplies and upgrading every school in our city. From the elementary level up to the University of Caloocan City, we want both students and teachers to focus solely on teaching and learning,” he said.
The mayor underscored that sustained investment in education is key to building a better future, adding that programs aimed at improving school infrastructure and easing the burden on students and educators will remain a central focus of the local government.
